The mini combination consists of 3 different machines with their own attachments that arrive on-site transported aboard a purpose built beavertail truck. That way, the correct machine can be used to suit the tasks and conditions on the day. Generally, access side clearance needs to be 1050mm for the excavator, and 1100mm for wheeled machines. Height clearances can be found on the ”Machines” page.
Dig It Down Under operates a Kubota 1.5 tonne mini excavator that features zero swing and expandable rubber tracks, fitted with a power tilt head means not only does it have a tilting batter bucket but it can tilt all the digging buckets or the ripper through 180 degrees making level trenching along slopes not a problem, a rock breaker or concrete breaker is available as is an auger unit for boring post post holes and pier holes to various diameters, then there is the Toyota SDK4 skid steer loader, this mini skid steer is small in size but a powerful piece of machinery, arrives with a 4 in 1 bucket and a grab-able spreader bar.
Finally we have a Jayden Kanga mini loader more commonly knows as a Dingo mini digger, this machine also has a 4 in 1 bucket but that can be swapped over to the chain trencher or the borer unit again for drilling post holes, it has its own levelling bar, a set of rippers for that hard ground and can convert into a small forklift truck to move items around the site.
We work well with plumbers, landscapers, concreters, builders and the private home owner no matter what the project, so if you need a turf prep or require a level site for that above ground swimming pool or rainwater tank, clearing the fence line, digging out for footings or drainage trenches, under house excavation for more space, land shaping just to name some things we do then call Dig It Down Under.
We service area’s north of Brisbane to Maroochydore, Bribie Island to Woodford and all the suburbs within that radius such as Caboolture, North Lakes, Petrie, Aspley, Redcliffe, Samford, Narangba, Elimbah, Stafford, Nudgee just to name a few, however sometimes we do flex a little on distance depending on workload.
Dig It Down Under is owner operated, fully insured and blue card inducted, mini excavator and mini skid steer are registered by Queensland Government for ”conditional use”
